Since its inception, Freedom, Inc. has evolved as a highly respected political force, a position earned due to its ability to influence the election of African-Americans to political office.  Freedom, Inc. has worked hard to educate African-American voters about the political process.  By voting in unity, African-American voters gain control of their communities and help decide the outcome of elections.
